  If you’re black, especially a black man, and you support Trump or you don’t hate him like they think you are supposed to, black folks who you are related to through blood and marriage, who you rode the elementary school bus with, graduated from high school with, who you go to church with, who you drink and play cards with, who you went to college with, who are dating, who are married to, who are in the same fraternity of sorority with etc, who you go trips/vacations with will flat out attack you, demonize you, and vilify you as if you’ve never met.  BLACK VOTERS turnout at the rate of least 94% in every election cycle for the Democratic Party and has done so for the past 60 years. However, despite this huge turnout year after year, fear-mongering is all the Democratic Party has to offer black voters every election cycle. No policies. No economics. No tangibles.   Dear Black People who live in clean, safe, mainly white suburbs with a low crime rate along with very well-funded school districts where your children attend and thrive educationally: I find it very interesting that a lot of YOU are the main ones who encourage the many blacks who live in the ghetto or hood to continue to vote same way (Democrat) when you know damn well that you live in a suburb that is mainly Republican led and ran. I sure hope that this time an actual search for Grambling’s next President will be conducted unlike seven years ago. The next President does not have to be a Grambling graduate. They already tried that. However, if should happen to be a Grambling graduate, make sure they understand and actually promote HBCU/Black culture and Black consciousness at Grambling State university on a daily basis.  For the next President, would it be possible to select a person with a Ph.D, who has years of experience in working at a university especially a HBCU as a Professor, a VP for Student Affairs, VP for Academic Academic Enhancement, VP and Provost, a Dean of students or a President of a university, especially a HBCU? I Completely DISAGREE with Billy Porter portraying James Baldwin. James Baldwin was a human rights activist who fought against white supremacy on behalf of black people in his speeches, his writing and his actions. He just happened to be gay. Billy Porter is very ill cast for his Biopic. He has none of the essence nor could he pull off the cadence of a great James Baldwin. Billy Porter is not a good actor. As a little boy and a young man growing up in north Memphis, Hollywood and Springdale, I NEVER followed the trends of the streets nor did I ever subscribe to the Nigga mentally. I was economically poor, but I was rich in dignity, self respect and class. We were on food stamps and Welfare, but my mother fed me the right moral food and took great concern in my well-being.  So, all of these excuses about #JaMorant being young does not fly with me. Are any Black men watching “The Best Man” limited series on the Peacock App? I am asking because all that I have been reading are high praises from tons of Black women who have watched it and in quite a few cases, more than two times. Although Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  went under the banner of a Baptist preacher, he was bigger than just being a Baptist preacher or even a Christian preacher. He was a Messenger. However, he did not start off as a Messenger. He actually started off as a prop of sorts that was used to eloquently convey the message of social integration by “higher ups” in the Black Baptist church community.  Initially, Dr. King had handlers (some who were not black) who gave him an approved script or speech for the masses. The approved script for social integration given to Dr. King to read and to promote to the world was the complete opposite of Malcolm X’s message of “Doing for Self” and “Self Determination” which is why I say WE as Black Americans should have listened to Malcolm X instead. I blame single/never married black women for the high rate of fatherless children in our race! I remember leaving the country for the first time in my life at age 24. I participated in a student travel abroad program while a graduate student at Grambling State University in December of 1994. We went to Mexico to live with host families and attended college classes in Saltillo for about three weeks. During the fourth and final week of our visit to Mexico, we spent a couple of days in Mexico City where we toured the city’s landmarks and government offices.
