Billy Porter is the WRONG choice for James Baldwin Biopic! 4/20/2023

I Completely DISAGREE with Billy Porter portraying James Baldwin. James Baldwin was a human rights activist who fought against white supremacy on behalf of black people in his speeches, his writing and his actions. He just happened to be gay. Billy Porter is very ill cast for his Biopic. He has none of the essence nor could he pull off the cadence of a great James Baldwin. Billy Porter is not a good actor. His voice is trash.  He’s trash. 

He’s being used to push a false narrative of homophobia in the black community of which he is “proud” to do. Billy Porter is just a flaming sissy who does ANYTHING to stay relevant in Hollywood. James Baldwin was a man of deep thoughts and deep compassion for justice for Black people. Whoever cast this guy has no interest in showing the actual major of James Baldwin. Instead, they will minor in him being gay and possibly show him in some Lee Daniels, P Valley inspired graphic sex scenes with white men, which will be to Billy Porter’s delight. 

You can definitely count me out as a movie goer and a tv viewer whenever this purposeful train wreck hits the theaters and the streaming services. I think Billy Porter is better suit to portray the historical civil rights figure, Bayard Rustin. According to reports, He was the Billy Porter of the civil rights movement.

 I Wonder If #JeremyBrown were Trans.  6/28/2023 I wonder if the cheering of Jeremy Brown’s murder would be as loud and sanctimonious if he were a trans woman (a dude that identifies as a woman) punching a biological black female as a result of a heated argument.
