Are any Black men watching “The Best Man” limited series on the Peacock App? I am asking because all that I have been reading are high praises from tons of Black women who have watched it and in quite a few cases, more than two times. Hmmm, there must an interracial relationship or a LGBTQPIA element or black men are being portrayed as being irresponsible, intellectually inept, aggressively patriarchal or misogynistic somewhere in this series in order for the women to love it so much.

The last Best Man movie was it for me. When the professor’s wife was shown about to suck off some college white boys and when Nia Long literally fought with the BETA male director, Malcolm D. Lee, to give her character a white love interest, I was done with those movies. I don’t trust Malcolm D. Lee as the writer or director.

The first one is my favorite and the only one that I will continue to watch. I don’t know about anyone else, but images as they relate to how black men, black women and black relationships are portrayed in movies and on television MATTER to me.

Nope. I have not watched it. No plans to watch it either. I tend not to watch these APP movies. The foolishness is real.  I will just stick to ION tv. Chicago PD, Chicago Fire, Law and Order SVU, Blue Bloods, and NCIS Los Angeles never disappoint.
