Ja Morant, Your image does matter. 4/20/2023

As a little boy and a young man growing up in north Memphis, Hollywood and Springdale, I NEVER followed the trends of the streets nor did I ever subscribe to the Nigga mentally. I was economically poor, but I was rich in dignity, self respect and class. We were on food stamps and Welfare, but my mother fed me the right moral food and took great concern in my well-being.

So, all of these excuses about #JaMorant being young does not fly with me. Displaying this look and this behavior (when you have millions) of eyes 👀 on you every day is indicative of a breakdown in his upbringing or the people whom he surrounds himself with. Whether he knows it or not, Ja is an influencer to thousands of young people. I just wish he would finally start using his wide spread influence over the youth in a more positive way. Many of the youth and young adults in the city of Memphis already feeds on a steady diet of thuggism. Also, going by the rainbow colors in his dreads, the youth and young adults already have a heaping helping of skittles and rainbow sherbet ice cream. 👀

He is not the first nor will he be the last young man to make it to the NBA with a multimillion dollar contract. It’s your behavior publicly that determines your worth in these corporate systems. Yes. The NBA is a corporation. His behavior and look could cost him (if they haven’t already) millions in corporate endorsements. Ja, stop the foolishness and those corporate dollars!

Ja Morant needs a professional image consultant and a Life Coach. Now, what he does behind closed doors in the privacy of his own home ,off of social media, is his business. Wait! According to the latest lawsuit that’s being brought against him by a teenager he allegedly punched in the face, Ja doesn’t know how to act at home either. Damn!
