Actress, talk show host, game show host, #KekePalmer officially embarks on single motherhood! SMH

What’s there to celebrate? I thought #KekePalmer was into girls. What is she doing being pregnant? Most of These chicks today are obviously confused. I think it’s just a slap in the face of who she really is and how she was actually raised growing up. Keke Palmer grew up middle class and in a MARRIED two parent household with an ACTIVE and PRESENT FATHER. Keke Palmer is a Disney kid (Tru Jackson VIP). She did not grow up hood. She was not burdened with mostly ignorant hood values.

I think in her efforts to ditch the Disney kid image, she went overboard in trying to appeal to what she believed is real or “down ass” black culture. Meaning, she purposefully trained herself to act out every sassy, loud and over the top “black girl” stereotype. FYI Keke, the hood is a SUBCULTURE of black people, not the totality of who we are as a group in this country.
All I see in this picture is just another high profiled SINGLE/Never married black woman CHOOSING to be a baby mama instead of a wife and then a mother, which means no real presence and consistent father for the child after the baby is born and she couldn’t care less. This also means that another black child born to a single black female will lose out on a lot of physical, emotional and mental stability along with a sense of security and a dependable, consistent system of protection.
Oh, and for those of you who want to scream, “Keke is not a single pregnant female! She has a boyfriend!” A boyfriend is not a husband. His girlfriend is not his wife. Keke Palmer is single and the guy she allowed to get her pregnant is a single man.
I think all of the celebrity black women who are publicly congratulating her on her dysfunctional choice in reproductive behavior on social media are adding to the problem of promoting single motherhood in black race in America. I think that a young black woman like Keke Palmer with such a high celebrity profile and with a huge platform that reaches millions of impressionable young black girls on a daily basis should be more responsible and cognizant of the messages she sends out. Keke, volunteering to be a single mother is not a cool message to send out to young black girls.
I know that black children have to be sick of this shit! I just know they have to be sick of these self-centered women bringing them into this world fatherless and unprotected. I know they have to be sick and tired of these women getting pregnant by randoms and just for clout. SMH!

Dear, GSU President Search Committee.

I sure hope that this time an actual search for Grambling’s next President will be conducted unlike seven years ago. The next President does not have to be a Grambling graduate. They already tried that. However, if should happen to be a Grambling graduate, make sure they understand and actually promote HBCU/Black culture and Black consciousness at Grambling State university on a daily basis.  For the next President, would it be possible to select a person with a Ph.D, who has years of experience in working at a university especially a HBCU as a Professor, a VP for Student Affairs, VP for Academic Academic Enhancement, VP and Provost, a Dean of students or a President of a university, especially a HBCU?
